What that means for search
Someone in Brockham searches “roofer Brockham” or “roofer near me”. A Dorking roofer with a page about Brockham, naming the village and the kind of work that comes up there, ranks for that. A Dorking roofer whose site says “we cover Mole Valley” does not.
Proof matters here
Dorking customers check. Reviews, real photos of real jobs, a clear list of what you do and, where you can, a price guide. A site with stock photos and no reviews loses to one with a photo of a patio you laid in Westcott and a review from the owner.
What to do
Start with the five or six villages you work in most. A page each. Set them as your service area on Google. Ask every customer for a review and reply to each one. Add the rest of the villages over time. It is steady work and it holds once it is done.
